Silverhawks (1986)

This is another cartoon I barely remember. Only thing i remember is that they aired this in Malaysia after Thundercats. Sponsored by KFC. And I remember they got cool toys. Each character toy has a toy bird that can change into a weapon. I don't quite remember a lot. It's weird. I couldn't remember they talked. Must be bad memory coz I really dont remember. Thundercats (1985)

Thundercats is one of my overall favourites. It has a great storyline, great art, great action. It is seriously a very thought out cartoon. I can vouch that there is no better cartoon with such great art and plot. If there is, please tell me so I can post it for everyone to see. Thundercats foollows the adventures of the Thunderans Lion-O, Tigra, Cheetara, Panthro, Wilykat, Wilykit and Snarf after they crashland on a planet called third earth, escaping their doomed planet Thundera. There, they are opposed by the Mutants of Plun-Darr who destroyed their planet and chased them all the to Third Earth, and Mumm-Ra a very powerfull ancient sorcerer. Fortunately they have on their side Jaga, a spirit guardian of the Thundercats, and allies from third Earth. Lion-O wields the very powerful Sword of Omens which is sought after by the 'cats enemies. The sword has mystical properties as it is equipped with the Eye of Thundera, the source of power of the Thundercats. If there is only one cartoon I can ask you to watch, I will recommend you to watch Thundercats. It simply has a great storyline, beautiful art and fascinating special effects. Thundercats are one of those one in a million gem kind of cartoons that you will never find nowadays. I sincerely hope you watch this masterpiece of a cartoon and enjoy it more than I do. :) .

My First Post

Assalamualaikum and greetings friends.
My name is Feiruz bin Shamsudin @ efzek.
Cartoons have always played an important part in my life. What I watched as a boy while growing up in the 80s has had a large influence in my life and has continued to shape part of my life experiences. I'm sure such is true for some of you too.
therefore, I have decided to blog about those cartoons of the 80s period which brings so many memories to this day.
